Christine Hall McKie web posted October 17, 2009 AIKEN – Mrs. Christine Hall McKie, 72, entered into rest October 15, 2009 at National Healthcare. Mrs. McKie, a native of Aiken County, was a member of Old Macedonia Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Edward McKie, North Augusta, S.C.; a son, Christopher McKie, Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, Jeremiah Hall, Graniteville, S.C.; two sisters, Earnestine (James) Johnson and Evelyn (Joseph) Blocker, Trenton, S.C.; two grandchildren, Taylor McKie, Little Rock, Ark. and Tasha Abney, Augusta, Ga.; one aunt, Mary Gowdy, Augusta, Ga.; a host of other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the residence of her sister, Earnestine (James) Johnson, 679 Mt. Zion Road, Trenton, S.C. or after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2009, at Old Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Limuer Myers officiating. G. L.
