Rufus McKee Morris web posted March 7, 2008 EDGEFIELD - Mr. Rufus McKee Morris, 83, of Rainsford Rd., husband of the late Florence Miller Morris, died Wednesday March 5, 2008 at his residence. Graveside Services will be held today, Friday March 7, 2008 at 2 P.M. at Republican Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Morris was born in North Carolina and was a member of Republican Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of WW II in the Army Air Corp. He was a retired welder with the Local 150. Survivors include three sons, Chic Morris, John Morris, both of Edgefield, Thomas Morris, Beech Island; one sister, Sarah Hatcher, Charlotte, N.C., three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Republican Baptist Church, 610 Republican Rd. Clarks Hill, S.C. 29821. The family is at the home and will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home. ©
