John C. “Johnny” Morris, III web posted June 14, 2010 NORTH AUGUSTA – Funeral Services for Mr. John C. “Johnny” Morris, III, 64, of West Martintown Road, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest June 12, 2010, will be conducted Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock from the Republican Baptist Church. Rev. Lance Thomas officiating. Interment in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Morris was a life-long resident of the Belvedere-North Augusta Area. He was a member of Republican Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Congregational Song Leader and Choir Member. He retired from AGY. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Kay Bunch Morris; two sons and a daughter-in-law, John Kevin Morris, North Augusta and Michael and Kari Morris, Trenton; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Steven Turner, Johnston; a grandson, Kieran Turner; his parents, Curtis and Wadie Morris, Morganton, NC; a sister, Sandra Clemmons, Morganton, NC. Pallbearers will be Deacons of Republican Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Monday evening from 6 until 8.
