Mary Ellen Doolittle Murrel web posted May 14, 2011 JOHNSTON – Mary Ellen Doolittle Murrell, 83, wife of the late Earl F. Murrell, of Pebble Court died Friday 13, 2011 at University Hospital. Graveside Services will be held Monday May 16 at 11A.M. at Sunset Gardens Memorial Park with Reverend Josh McClendon officiating. Mrs. Murrell was a native of Edgefield County. She was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters Dianne Murrell, Johnston; and Jeanette (Raymond) Derrick, Johnston; one grandson Ray (Lisa) Derrick, Jacksonville, Florida; one great granddaughter Lacey V. Derrick and a brother Strom (Annette) Doolittle, Greenwood. Mrs. Murrell was predeceased by a son Larry O. Murrell. Memorials may be made to Rocky Creek Baptist Church, 632 Rocky Creek Road, Johnston, SC 29832.
