Fredric L. Napier Jr.
Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medals recipient

MERRIWETHER –  Mr. Fredric 'Bo' L. Napier, Jr., of Edgefield Road, entered into rest Monday, February 20, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services will be held today at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Rowland Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Tillman officiating. Interment will be at Pineview Memorial Park with full military honors accorded at the graveside. The family will receive friends at Rowland Funeral Home this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Mr. Napier was a native of Aiken County and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Belvedere. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and was the recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medals while serving in Vietnam. Survivors include a special friend, Brenda Carpenter of North Augusta; one daughter, Kimberly Carney of Bainbridge, GA; one brother, Ralph Napier of Ladson, SC; five grandchildren, Joshua Carney, Brayden Carney, Sam Carpenter, Brianna Carpenter and Kaylee Carpenter.Memorials may be made toe Bible Baptist Church Building Fund, 904 Sweetwater Road, North Augusta, SC 29860. Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
