EDGEFIELD - Funeral Services for Sis.
Carrie Mae Nicholson will be held 1:00pm Saturday January 19, 2008 at
the Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Edeward Lloyd, Pastor and
the Rev. Reginald Grimes officiating. Burial will be in the church
cemetery. Survivors include: her daughter, Margaret Bouknight; her son,
Henry Nicholson (Betty Jean); two brothers, Samuel Mitchell, Jr.
(Roberta) and Luke Mitchell, Aiken, SC; three sisters, Reverend Annie
Mae Butler, Reverend Mary Turner, and Sister Sarah L. Hamilton; ten
grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, a great-great grandchild;
three god-daughters, Elizabeth Wheeler, Mary Brightharp (Charles) and
Martha Williams; daughter-in-law, Sherry Nicholson; brothers-in-law,
Lewis Mathis, Sr., Calvin Nicholson and Thurmond Nicholson,
sisters-in-law, Annie L. Stevens, Rev. Bernice Bishop, Pauline
Nicholson and Mattie Dawkins. Amos & Sons Funeral Home.
