Cleveland Nicholson web posted March 18, 2011 JOHNSTON – Cleveland Nicholson was born on December 23, 1951 in Johnston, SC to the late John Nicholson and Mozell Pixley NIcholson. He departed this life Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Augusta, GA. He is survived by four sisters: Lillie Mae Daniels, Virginia Amos, Annie Ozell JOnes, all of Johnston, SC and Yvonne Anderson, Fort Washington, Md., three brother, Charlie Nicholson(Katherine), Washington, DC, James E. Nicholson, (Essie), Edgefield, SC, and Joel Nicholson, Johnston, SC, as well as a Special Niece, Robin Andrews(Floyd), Evans, GA,and a special friend, Greta Hartzog, Johnston, SC and a host of nieces and nephews. Arrangements are in the care of Amos & Sons Funeral Home, Johnston, SC. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 1:30pm at the Rosa Spring Baptist Church in Johnston, SC. with the Pastor Winston Oliphant. Reverend Lewis Burt , Eulogist and Rev. Essie Nicholson , Presiding. Interment will be at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery and the Repast will be at the Society Hall, Johnston, SC.
