Father Robert William Ninedorf

EDGEFIELD – Father Robert William Ninedorf, 81, of Stonehenge Circle, died Tuesday July 7, 2009 at Edgefield County Hospital.

A Requiem Mass will be held Saturday July 11 at 11 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Edgefield.

Father Ninedorf was born in Buffalo, NY. And was an Army Chaplain with the 82nd Airborne Division. He Graduated from Baylor University and the Virginia
Theological Seminary. Father Ninedorf started out as an Episcopalian Priest before converting to Catholicism. He was Retired Priest of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Edgefield & St. William’s Catholic Church in Ward with over 18 years Service.

Survivors include sister and brother-in-law- Marilyn Howard-Bertke and Frank Bertke, Tucson, Arizona, 2 nephews- Russell Keith Howard, Jr., Harvey Lee Hartman, Jr., both of Houston, TX.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 302 Jeter St. Edgefield, S.C. 29824.

Friends may call the funeral home and the family will receive friends after the Service at the church on Saturday

Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
