web posted February 24, 2006 Alberta Goodwin Norris TRENTON - Mrs. Alberta Goodwin Norris, 72, of Bettis Academy Ext., entered into rest February 17, 2006 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2006 at Shaws Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. James R. Martin officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Floyd Goodwin (Denise) and Charlie Braxton; four daughters, Pluma Lee Washington, Mary Jane Brooks, Allie Hammond (Barney) and Barbara Danley (Robert); a brother, Robert Goodwin (Olivia); sister, Lugenia Goodwin; devoted cousins, Elizabeth J. Burt and Virginia Nipper; sister-in-law, Vivian Goodwin; 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; adopted family, West and Mathis Family; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
