Harmon Bertis Ouzts web posted November 27, 2009 JOHNSTON – Services for Harmon Bertis Ouzts, age 73, will be held Sunday, November 29, 2009 at 2 pm at Providence Baptist Church with burial to follow in Mt Calvary Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Bland Funeral Home Saturday evening from 6- 8 pm Mr. Ouzts, a native of Edgefield County, died Thursday, November 26, 2009. He was a son of the late Alma Bertis and Mary Gregory Ouzts. He retired after 44 years with the South Carolina National Guard and 20 years as a Federal Technician with the National Guard. Mr. Ouzts was a member of Providence Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Survivors include his wife: Nellie Wilson Ouzts; daughters: Sandra (Larry) Cockrell and Wanda (Marvin) Long-Cromer; sister: Marjorie (Harold) Butler; grandchildren: Stephanie and Stacy Scoggins; Mitchell, Brandon and Britt Long and Christopher and Paul James Cockrell; 13 great grandchildren. © Copyright 2009
