MERRIWETHER – Funeral services for Mr. Gorman K. Perry, 75, of Sweetwater Road, North Augusta, SC who entered into rest August 18, 2008 will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Phillip Hamilton officiating. Entombment in Pineview Memorial Park. Mr. Perry was a native of West Virginia having made North Augusta his home for the past 43 years. He was a former employee of Proctor & Gamble, former owner of A & R Service and a retired Appliance Service Technician. Mr. Perry was a Baptist and a Mason. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mattie Perry; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeff & Debra Perry and Christopher Perry, all of North Augusta; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Kevin McMillan and Debbie and Tim Robinson, all of North Augusta, Lori and Ben Butler, Aiken; a brother, Ronald Perry, Millersburg, OH; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Wednesday evening from 6 to 8. Memorials may be made to Grace Fellowship Church, 507 West Five Notch Road, North Augusta, SC 29860.
