Mr.
Robert T. (Bobby) Reel, Sr.

EDGEFIELD – Mr. Robert T. (Bobby) Reel,
Sr., 81, of Bausket St., husband of Gertrude Miller Reel, died Friday
3-13-2009 at Edgefield County Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held Monday 3-16-09 at 2:30 P.M. at Edgefield
First Baptist Church with burial in Eastview Cemetery in Edgefield.
Mr. Reel was born in Edgefield, S.C. and a member of Edgefield First
Baptist Church. He was retired from the U. S. Postal Service. He was a
Veteran of WW II and a member of Hezzie Griffis post 30 for 50 years
and was a Mason. He served on the Edgefield Fire Dept. for 50 years
retiring as Fire Chief.
Survivors include his wife, 2 daughters- Ellen (Mike) Kitchens
Edgefield, Lynn (David) Mathis North Augusta, 1 Son- Robert T. Reel,
Jr., Columbia. 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hezzie Griffis post 30, P. O. Box 236
Edgefield, S.C. 29824.
The family is at the home on Bausket St. and will receive friends from
3 to 5 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
