Cathy H. Rimer web posted March 2, 2011 NORTH AUGUSTA – Mrs. Cathy H. Rimer, 65, wife of the late George Alexander Rimer, Sr., of Orchard Way, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Rowland Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Phillip Howle officiating. Private family interment will be held at a later date. Mrs. Rimer moved to the area in 1971 from Columbia, SC. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and loved her grandchildren very much. Survivors include one son, Alex Rimer (Tonya) of North Augusta, SC; one daughter Lisa Thibodeau (Billy) of North Augusta, SC; one brother, Bobby Haynes (Debbie) of Columbia, SC; four grandchildren, Katelyn Rimer, Alex Thibodeau, Shayne Rimer, and Brad Thibodeau; and two nephews, Christopher Haynes and Darin Haynes. Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Thibodeau, Shayne Rimer, Brad Thibodeau, Chris Haynes, Darin Haynes, and Kevin Haynes. The family will receive friends at Rowland Funeral Home from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, March 3, 2011. Memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 1843 Highway 23 W, Edgefield, SC 29824.
