Obituary
Daniel W. Sims Jr. web posted March 30, 2006 MERRIWETHER - Mr. Daniel Woodrow Sims, Jr., 28, of Shortcut Road, entered in rest Monday, March 27, 2006 at his residence. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 30, 2006 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with Father C. Alexander McDonald celebrant. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. The Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. this evening in the chapel of Rowland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the Prayer Vigil until 9:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Mishoe, Wade Smith, Russell Meadows, Dr. John Velky, John Wood and David Dupriest. Mr. Sims was a native of Lancaster, SC and had lived in North Augusta for the past nine years. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel W. Sims, Sr. and his grandparents, A. B. and Nancy Sims. Survivors include his mom and dad, Ray and Carla Newman of North Augusta; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Cindy Mishoe of Aiken; two nieces, Anna and Crystal Kitchings both of Aiken; three cousins, Sherry Wheeler, Matthew Wheeler, and Nicholas Wheeler; step mother, Annette Sims of Great Falls, step-sister, Holly Levister of Great Falls, step grandfather, Ira Levister of Great Falls, step aunt, Martha Levister of Great Falls and his special friends at Millbrook. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 854 Old Edgefield Road, North Augusta, SC 29841 Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. For
