Smithweb posted January 5, 2009 MODOC – Mr. Harold Smith, 65, of Flat Rock Rd, died Sunday January 4 at the Medical College of Georgia. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday January 6 at 6 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home. Mr. Smith was a native of Edgefield and was the son of the late John A. and Nellia Doolittle Smith and retired tuck driver for several logging companies. Survivors include 1 son- Randy (Melanie) Smith, Edgefield; 1 daughter- Audra (Jeff) Bedenbaugh, Modoc; 6 grandchildren- Kevin, Kyle, Jacob, Olivia, Matthew, Jared; 6 sisters- Lena Turner, Myrtle Beach; Edna Clark, Ninety Six; Joyce Insley, Langley; Ruth Gallaway, Workman Riley, Marion Morrow both of Edgefield and a loving companion Geraldine (Jello) Haynes. The family is at the home of his daughter on Flat Rock Rd and will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. © Copyright 2009
