O. Lee Sturkey

MCCORMICK – O. Lee Sturkey, 67, of East Gold St.,
husband of Carole Mueller Sturkey, died Friday December 24, 2010 at
Self- Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday December 28, 2010 at 2:00 PM at
St. Paul United Methodist Church in Plum Branch, SC with burial in Plum
Branch cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Sturkey was the son of the late Oscar Lee and Ethel Speer
Sturkey. He was a native of Plum Branch, SC and a member of St.
Paul United Methodist Church. He was a retired attorney in McCormick
and a U S Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife; a son and daughter-in-law Jefferson Lee and
Tatum Sturkey, Simpsonville, SC; 2 granddaughters Karsen and
Kennedy Sturkey; 2 brothers Marion Foster Sturkey, Plum Branch, SC and
Ralph Henry Sturkey Columbia, SC; a special niece Francesca Sammantino
along with 10 nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday December 27, 2010 from 5:00 to
7:00 PM at the St. Paul United Methodist Church fellowship hall.
Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
