Virginia Rockwell Sumler web posted December 17, 2010 NORTH AUGUSTA – Memorial Services for Mrs. Virginia Rockwell Sumler, 90, of Cheves Creek Circle, North Augusta, SC, who went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, December 15, 2010, will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the Cornerstone Community Church, 1518 Edgefield Road (Hwy 25), North Augusta, SC. Rev. John Los, her son will be officiating. Mrs. Sumler was a native of New Canaan, CT, having made North Augusta her home. She was a member of Cornerstone Community Church, volunteered at the North Augusta Recreational Center and provided Birthday Parties for the homeless at the Salvation Army. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John & Joyce Los, North Augusta; three daughters and a son-in-law, Carol Blanck, Brevard, NC, Betsy & Marlin Higgins, Germantown, NC and Candy LaBonte, Jacksonville, NC; eleven grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
