Sidney A. Wright, Jr. web posted June 27, 2010 NORTH AUGUSTA – Graveside services for Mr. Sidney A. Wright, Jr., 71, of Waccamaw Drive, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest June 25, 2010, will be conducted this Monday morning at 11 o’clock in Pineview Memorial Park. Dr. T. Joseph Lusk officiating. Mr. Wright was a native of Edgefield County having made North Augusta his home for the past 46 years. He was a 1957 Graduate of Edgefield High School and attended Newberry College and Augusta College. Mr. Wright retired as the Manager of Patient Accounts at MCG. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Newman Wright. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Sid and Kim Wright, North Augusta; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Raymond Shaffer and Holly and Darren Prickett, all of North Augusta; a brother, Walker Wright, Goose Creek, SC; a sister and brother-in-law , Nancy and Wayne Luquire, Edgefield; five grandchildren, Taylor Wright, Kristen Wright, Tyler Shaffer, Evan Prickett and Reed Prickett.
