Irene Stafford Young web posted November 11, 2010 SALUDA – Irene Stafford Young, 85, formerly of Edgefield, S.C., died on Friday, November 5, 2010, at her home. Born in Saluda County, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Eddie and Amanda Dean Stafford. She was a member of the Willow Spring Baptist Church and the Young Ladies of Honor of Edgefield. She is survived by two sons, Theodore Young, Edgefield and Robert Young, Saluda; two daughters, Johnnie Mae Hill and Dorothy Padgett, both of Saluda; one sister, Mary Ann Miles, Saluda; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grands. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Willow Spring Baptist Church, Edgefield, with burial in the church cemetery.
