Samuel Young, Sr. web posted December 2, 2009 JOHNSTON – Funeral Services for Mr. Samuel Young, Sr. will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the Simmon Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Matthew Haskell, Pastor and the Rev. Edward Lloyd, the Eulogist. Interment will be in the Church cemetery. Survivors include: three daughters, Yvonne J. Young, Long Island, NY, Barbara Y. (Leonard) Walker, Houston, TX and Myrtis Y. (Rev. Stanley) Walker Trenton, S.C. three sons, Samuel Young, Jr. and Jearold Young, both of Johnston, SC and Ronnie Paul (Deloris) Young, Decatur, GA. two sisters, Juliette Y. Bynoe, Columbia, SC and Katie Green, New Britain Conn., sisters-in-law, Irene Young, Edgefield, SC and Ruby Hogans, Far Rockaway, NY and a brother-in law, Ronald Lloyd, Bronx, NY, thirteen grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
