Harvested turkeys are no longer required to be checked, however, the possession and use of turkey tags are still required (SC 50-11-544). 2. Sunday hunting for turkey allowed statewide on private land.(SC 50-11-555) 3. Unlawful to take or attempt to take wild turkey from a watercraft. (SC 50-11-500). Bag Limit 123-51 1. Total of 5 statewide per person. 2 per day “gobblers only” unless otherwise specified.
