6th Annual "Thunder Over Thurmond" set for July 7 web posted June 28, 2007 MCCORMICK – The Lincoln and McCormick Counties invite you to celebrate our country’s independence at the 6th Annual Thunder Over Thurmond Fireworks Spectacular on Saturday July 7th! Join Kicks 99 on location at Savannah Lakes Resort as the skies over Lake Thurmond explode to thunderous applause. The largest fireworks display on Lake Thurmond will begin at 9:30 PM over the 378 bridge between Lincoln and McCormick Counties. Savannah Lakes Resort will be hosting a beach party Friday and Saturday night with music, food, and more. Friday night activities include DJ Pat Patterson from 8:30 PM - midnight. Dance the night away to the tunes of Brass Tyme Band on Saturday, July 7th beginning at 8:30 PM. Cover is $5 per person Friday and $10 per person Saturday, bring your coolers with no glass bottles, Moss’s BBQ will selling their specialty. Bring you boat...Bring your lawn chairs...Bring your American Pride...and behold the marvel of Thunder Over Thurmond on July 7th at 9:30 PM!
