  Flu shots offered by DHEC in Saluda and Edgefield County web posted September 18, 2008 COUNTY – Flu shot will be made available for the upcoming flu season at area Health Departments beginning October 8 in Saluda and on October 9 in Edgefield. DHEC Region 1 will offer flu shots for $25. For those who meet the criteria for a Pneumonia and/or Tetanus shots, there will be no additional charge. Please bring your Medicare and Medicaid cards to make sure your plan covers the vaccine. Cash or check will be accepted. Flu shots will be offered to anyone ages six months and older. No one will be turned away due to inability to pay. Flu shots will be offered at the following locations. Saluda County Flu Clinics Wednesday, October 8 from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. Friday, October 10 from 8 a.m. - Noon Saluda Health Department 613 Newberry Highway Saluda (864) 445-2141 Edgefield County Flu Clinic Thursday, October 9 from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Edgefield Health Department 21 Star Road Edgefield (803) 637-4035 ©
