  Group seeks to provide Christmas to disadvantaged web posted November 29, 2006 COUNTY – With Christmas closing in fast Debbie Courtney and Parents Have a Mission (PHAM) are helping people get into the giving spirit. The organization delivers Christmas presents to needy families in the area. Last year PHAM and Angels helping Sarah’s Santas were able to serve thirty-five families and the group seeks to increase that number to over one hundred families this year. An “Angels Care Day” will be held at JET Middle School on December 9 from 9 am until 1 pm. There will be a large yard sale, raffles, food, entertainment and more throughout the day to benefit the effort. Residents are asked to bring a new, unwrapped, toy or gift for a child between the ages of 5 to 14 years. Cash donations will also be accepted. Donations and gifts can be sent to JET Middle School no later than December 18 at 1095 Columbia Road, Johnston SC, 29832. The organization is a local effort and is directed at local families. For
