Banks Drug Store in Ridge Spring Burglarized - Duffle Bags of Drugs Stolen

web posted August 26, 2014

RIDGE SPRING   The Saluda County Sheriff's Office issued a BOLO (Be On The Lookout) for three men dressed in all black driving a black GMC Yukon that had just robbed the Banks Pharmacy in Ridge Spring just after 1 am Tuesday. A partial plate on the SUV was said to be on a South Carolina tag ending in 314. They were last seen fleeing on Highway 23, possibly towards Batesburg.

The men were said to be wearing all black, including long sleeve black shirts. They were able to fill three "duffle bags", usually quite large, with stolen drugs before making their escape.

Very little additional information is available due to the investigation just getting underway.

Anyone in the area at the time or may have seen the vehicle prior to or just after the burglary is asked to call your local law enforcement agency to provide information.

Developing story .
