 Second Quarter Perfect Attendance Bus Drivers recognized web posted February 12, 2008 JOHNSTON – The Edgefield County School District congratulated several bus drivers for the second quarter perfect attendance incentive awards. Tanja Bryan, Supervisor of Transportation presented each perfect attendance driver with a certificate and award during a recognition program held at the School Bus Office Complex. Bus Drivers recognized were Debra Andrews, Barbara Bussey, Denise Cobb, Leona Culbreath, Brenda Gilliam, Debra Glanton, Brenda Gordon, Angie Griffin, Avis Griffin, John Henry Jackson, Joan Long, James Mathis, Evelyn Mitchell, Blanche Roper, Mary Tillman, Lizzie Turner, Polly Watker, Shameka Weaver, Louise Webb and Catherine Wooten. The drivers were commended for their dedication to their job and the important role they perform every day in the operations of the school district by transporting children to and from school. From the twenty perfect attendance drivers for second quarter, Ms. Mary Tillman was announced as the Bus Driver of the Quarter. To be eligible for Bus Driver of the Quarter a driver must have perfect attendance. All perfect attendance drivers’ names are submitted to the principals in the district who use a checklist to select one driver that best meets the criteria of the Bus Driver of the Quarter Award. ©
