  Transportation Incentive Winners for Third Quarter web posted April 21, 2008 JOHNSTON – The Transportation Department of the Edgefield County School District held a recognition program on April 17 to honor eighteen bus drivers for having perfect attendance for the third quarter of this school year. The drivers received a certificate and award from Tanja Bryan, Supervisor of Transportation and Mr. James Courtney, Director of Transportation. The drivers were commended for their dedication to their job and the important role they perform every day in the operations of the school district by transporting children to and from school. Transportation employees recognized were: Debra Andrews, Sheron Bibbs, Denise Cobb, Mary Felton, Brenda Gilliam, Brenda Gordon, Joann Greene, Angela Griffin, John Henry Jackson, Diane Johnson, Joan Long, James Mathis, Terry McKie, Evelyn Mitchell, Larry Pinson, Lizzie Turner, Johnnie Mae Williams and Catherine Wooten. Mr. Larry Pinson was announced as the Bus Driver of the Quarter. To be eligible for Bus Driver of the Quarter a driver must have perfect attendance. All perfect attendance drivers’ names are submitted to the principals in the district who use a checklist to select one driver that best meets the criteria of the Bus Driver of the Quarter Award. ©
