 No contract approved for Superintendent web posted June 30, 2007 JOHNSTON – With June coming to a close the Edgefield County School District could find itself without a superintendent of schools. Dr. Sharon Keesely’s contract ends on June 30 as she retires and the School Board has not approved Dr. Frank Roberson’s contract. The board met again on Friday and refused to accept the contract as it was presented. The details of the contract have not been made public. If Dr. Roberson does not accept an offer by the School Board by July 1 the school board will schedule a called meeting to discuss options available to the district.
