Schilit recognized the December Culture of Excellence Award recipients
for Strom Thurmond High School for the month of December. The award
recognizes teachers and support staff who demonstrate “good school
culture” and excellence in teaching and specific job duties. Recipients of the award receive a star of excellence pin and lunch from Principal Schilit. Pictured is Principal Matt Schilit, Ms. Evelyn Mitchell (center), recognized for her efficient duties as a custodian and her willingness to be of support to all staff and faculty of the high school, and Science Instructor (right) Mrs. Sandra Gladden; recognized for her excellence in teaching and her commitment to seeing that Strom Thurmond High School students excel. © Copyright 2009
