 Sheriff’s Office seeks accused child molester web posted August 26, 2009  EDGEFIELD – The
Edgefield County Sheriff’s
Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a man they say is
responsible for molesting a 5-year-old child on August 18. Johnnie Lee
Snodgrass, 42, is wanted for a charge of criminal sexual conduct with a
minor in connection to the case, Chief Investigator Randy Doran said
Tuesday.Snodgrass is described as a white male standing 5’ 6” tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He has black hair, full beard, has blue eyes and wears glasses. He was last seen driving a 1999 white Chevrolet work type van (no side windows) with a ladder rack on top. Snodgrass was last known to be at his home located at 1042 Augusta Road near Trenton early Tuesday morning, but Deputies have been unable to contact or locate him. Inv. Doran said they hoped getting the information about Mr. Snodgrass out in the media will result in calls of his location or encourage Mr. Snodgrass to turn himself in to authorities. Anyone with information as to Snodgrass’ whereabouts is asked to call the Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office by dialing 911, 803-637-5337 or 803-278-1625.
