Bomb
threat left at Trenton business
web posted November 28, 2005 TRENTON – Wednesday morning brought Edgefield County Deputies to the Trenton Bar-B-Que restaurant on the 5000 block of Edgefield Road. The owners had called police after finding a bomb threat on the answering machine claiming the suspect was going to “blow up” the business. Deputy Jimmy Smith and Deputy Marty English responded to the call and listened to the recording which appeared to be a female trying “to sound Muslim” claiming she was Osama Hussein and bin Ladin and the bomb would go off at 12:00 noon on Thursday. The case has been forwarded on to Chief Investigator Randy Doran for investigation. Bellsouth has been contacted to try to trace the number of the phone used to make the call. For
