Charges leveled against burglary suspect, accomplice

EDGEFIELD – Charges are beginning to be filed against Ricky Saxon, 31, arrested last week after an alleged theft from a construction site on Columbia Road. So far 17 counts have been served on Mr. Saxon with a total of nine different charges including five counts of burglary in the second degree.

The charges against Mr. Saxon are listed in jail records as receiving stolen goods less than $1,000, driving under suspension, failure to transfer ownership of a vehicle, improper vehicle license, no vehicle license, operating an uninsured vehicle, unsafe equipment, five counts of petit larceny, and five counts of burglary in the second degree.

Also charged with Mr. Saxon was his girlfriend Brandy Wilson, 24. She is charged with petit larceny and accessory after the fact of a felony. Both remain in the Edgefield County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing jail officials said Monday evening.
