 Augusta Colts add quarterback to Indoor Football Team web posted January 15, 2008 AUGUSTA – The Augusta Colts continue building their roster for the team with the announcement of more players being signed, including quarterback Brandon Satcher, a former Westside and North Augusta High School standout. Satcher, a graduate of the University of Hawaii, opened the season for the Augusta Spartans on the road in 2007 but left the team before the home opener. March 13 of this year will be the first time Satcher will open at the James Brown Arena. Also signed for the Colts were defensive end Myquayl Spann who split last season between the Oseola Roughriders and Augusta (WIFL) and linebacker Lavar Sims, who arrived in Augusta late last year after beginning the season with the Daytona Beach Thunder (WIFL). The Augusta Colts also introduced its newest addition to the 2008 roster in #35 Willie Butler fullback and linebacker who signed Monday. Butler is a former member of the Augusta Spartans ball club where he carried the ball 65 times for a total of 229 yards gained and 7 TDs in 13 games played. Butler graduated from South Carolina State University in 2005 and Midland Valley High School in 2000. He currently works in Jim Hannah Sport Wear in Aiken, SC. ©
