COLUMBIA – A seat on the S.C. Department
of Transportation Commission will soon become vacant. The Joint
Transportation Review Committee is accepting notices of intent from
residents in the DOT Commission’s Third District who would like to
apply to fill an unexpired term.
The seven-member DOT Commission is charged planning, construction,

governed by the Commission and the Secretary of Transportation.
Those interested must meet eligibility requirements and possess certain

February 15, 2012.
To receive application materials, prospective candidates living within
the Third District should notify the Committee in writing of their
