– A banquet
for the Strom Thurmond High School State AAA
Championship Team will be held March 17, 2006 beginning at 6:30 pm in
the STH school gymnasium. Highlights of the celebration will include
the awarding of outstanding athletic awards for the season, the
presentation of championship rings, and a video recap the long road
traveled to their goal.Tickets to the event are $15 each and are available at; the Edgefield County School District Office, Edgefield County Chamber of Commerce, Edgefield Office Supply, and Merriwether Middle School. Tickets are limited in number and will be on sale through March 9, 2006 a release from the Edgefield County Chamber of Commerce said. For
