web posted September 14, 2012

CLEMSON – The Clemson area Fellowship of Christian Athletes Adult Chapter and the Clemson University FCA College hosted the 2012 Rally in the Valley in Little John Coliseum Saturday. The rally featured J Dew who led fun games of which several STHS students were chosen to take part in, and won, and two Clemson University basketball players who gave their amazing testimonies!

Josh Black and Michelle Goforth, the sponsors of FCA at Strom Thurmond high school, and others took 24 students to Clemson University for the event.

Music was provided by members of the University FCA Praise Band team.  Youth Pastor, Brad Cooper, concluded the event with a very motivational and encouraging lesson on giving ALL the Glory to God in everything we do.

Many students, including several from STHS, gave their life to Christ for the very first time just seconds before the event concluded. Rally participants proceeded the event by attending the Clemson-Ball State football game.
