Health Occupation Students of America held their 2008-2009 Installation
Ceremony for officers on Wednesday, September 10. Officers to serve
this year are President-Stacie Morgan; VP-Social-Brittany Johns;
VP-Fund Raising-Deborah Tollison; VP-Individual Development- Anna
Stillinger; VP-Community Service Elizabeth; Bennie Padgett-Secretary;
Margaret Turner-Treasurer; Perrin Gibson and Stacia White-Historians.Community Service Projects of the local chapter include sponsoring blood drives, needy family projects, fund raisers for Autism Association, participate and collect for Breast Cancer Awareness, and assist with Special Olympics as Chaperones. They also make care bags for swing bed residents or nursing home residents. The organization will attended professional HOSA meetings, Officer Leadership Conferences, and compete in Regional, State and National events.
