  Strom Thurmond Rebel Regiment heads to State Championships with police escort web posted October 27, 2009 JOHNSTON – “We are going to the state championship,” Rick Argo said in a press release on Monday for the Rebel Band. The Strom Thurmond Rebel regiment Band will compete in the state championship on Saturday Oct 31st at 8:00 pm. The Band will be leaving Strom Thurmond High School at 5:30 pm with Sheriff and Johnston Police escort until they exit the county. ”We will be coming through Johnston at about 5:40 pm and we are asking everyone to come out and wave encouragement as we pass through,” Mr. Argo said. “We are asking Football players Student Body, Cheerleaders and parents to come send off the band and show the band support to win the State Championship.” Come to downtown Johnston Saturday and the wave the Rebel regiment on to victory. © Copyright 2009
