Thurmond Career
Center Soil Judging Team placed first in the Mid State FFA Soil Judging
Contest on October 27. Eight teams from the mid-state region competed.
Each of the four members of the STCC team had the highest individual
scores at the contest.The students were: First Place-Christin Speight, Second Place-Dustin Lalonde, Third Place-Gaurang Patel and Fourth Place-Ryan Burns. The local team will compete against nineteen other teams at the State Contest on November 14th in Saluda. © Copyright 2009
