HOSA Delivers to Adopted Family

web posted December 18, 2006

JOHNSTON - The Strom Thurmond Chapter of Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) proudly delivered Christmas gifts to their adopted family last Thursday morning. The students filled the Christmas list of their adopted family by bringing gifts or giving money for the purchase of gifts.

The students completed the project by wrapping the items in festive holiday wrapping to delight the youngsters who will receive the gifts. The local chapter works with many community projects and feels that the time they give to help others is one of the most rewarding projects that they can do.

Pictured above are left to right: Mrs. Dianna Wintrow, HOSA Advisor and Health Occupations Instructor, Dr. Carroll Wates, Director of STCC, students Sarah Edmonds, Ceteria Key, Chris Moton, Joshua Fischer and Whitley Cade. Mrs. Robin Herrin, Health Occupations Instruction is also an advisor to the group.
