 Strom Thurmond Class of 2006 Graduation web posted May 26, 2006  JOHNSTON – Strom
Thurmond High School held the graduation ceremony for
the Class of 2006 Friday night with the weather cooperating. As the
stadium began to fill with family and friends of the graduates the
graduates, dignitaries, and faculty began to gather at the back of the
stadium. With a full attendance, Steven McKinney and Barry wash began
the processional, everyone stood, and the graduation got underway. Student Body
President Courteney Barnes (left) welcomed everyone to the
ceremony and Senior Class President Patrick West introduced department
heads followed by Strom Thurmond Principle Greg Thompson introductions
of distinguished guests, including Congressional member Bill Clyburn.
Representative Clyburn told the graduates “you should be proud of your
accomplishments.” Enjoy these pictures of the ceremony.    For
