Planning Commission tabulating results of
questionaire Edgefielddaily.com web posted May 11, 2005 The Edgefield County Planning Commission has received the responses from those affected by the proposed zoning along Sweetwater Road. Building and Planning Director Howard Gibson said, “We have gotten a pretty fair response. It will be a good representation of property owners,” he said. Gibson said they mailed out about sixty questionnaires but was unsure of the exact number that was returned. “We took the same names from the earlier mailing, but we took off the names of those that were returned last time,” which were returned undeliverable Gibson said. The responses are being sorted at present according to the answers and suggestions. Mr. Gibson said they would have the results in time for the Planning Commission’s regular monthly meeting Thursday May 12, 2005. The meeting will be at the County Council Chambers at 225 Jeter Street, at 6:00 pm. The public is encouraged to attend.
