![]() Sweetwater home burglarized Saturday web posted May 30, 2006 SWEETWATER – A Sweetwater man called to report a burglary at his home on Edgefield Road Saturday night that occurred between the hours of 8 pm and 11:50 pm. When the Deputy arrived the man showed the officer where his door had been pried open to allow the person or persons to gain access to the home. Missing from the home was a 27 inch television and a Sony Playstation 2. The 27 year-old home owner said he believed one of several people knew who committed the crime, according to police reports. Police were able to gather some evidence at the scene and photographed the damage and the crime scene. The case has been forwarded on to the Sheriff’s Investigators for further investigation. Three of the six persons named that might have knowledge of the crime are familiar to law enforcement. The stolen items were listed as having a value of $760, and the damage to the door was estimated to be $50. For
