 Four-wheeler theft reported web posted July 26, 2006 SWEETWATER – A Double Creek Road resident notified the Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office Monday night of a theft of a four-wheeler from the home. The deputy arrived at the home just after 8 pm to meet with the homeowner. According to the homeowner the four-wheeler was last seen in an outbuilding located behind the home around 2:00 Monday afternoon. It is believed the theft took place between 2 pm and 5 pm. The deputy was unable to obtain footprints due to the rain. The four-wheeler was described as a red 2004 Honda Fourtrax. It has a damaged black front rack and the rear rack, also black in color, was tied to the rear with a yellow rope. There is also reportedly has a hole in the front fender. The value of the four-wheeler was listed as $5,000.
