Crash on Highway 25 ties up traffic for
over an hour Edgefielddaily.com web posted September 26, 2005  SWEETWATER
– Sunday evening just after 6:00 p.m. a half a mile north of Stephen’s
Road at the 1500 block of Highway 25 at Fox Terrace a 1984 Pontiac
Bonneville was turning right off of highway 25 when a Chevy W/T 1500
4x4 slammed into the rear end pushing both vehicles off the northbound
side of the road. The County Line Fire Department, Edgefield Sheriff’s
Department, SC Highway Patrol, and Edgefield County EMS responded to
the call. At least one individual was taken to MCG for evaluation. The driver of the pick up truck demanded no pictures be taken of the scene and was rather belligerent. He was ignored. The accident tided up traffic in the north bound lanes of highway 25 for well over an hour until the scene could be cleared. Though the accident was still under investigation officials on the scene said the driver of the pick up was at fault.
