![]() Mama knows best web posted October 24, 2006 SWEETWATER – While on routine patrol a Sheriff’s Deputy spotted a white Cadillac making turns without using turn signals. When the deputy initiated a traffic stop at a home on the 700 block of Square Circle Ranch Road, the man got out and ran inside the home. Within moments the young man exited the home with his mother behind him. The mother told the deputy that her son ran in the house and she made him go back outside to meet with the deputy. When the deputy told the young man to place his hands on the truck of the car he refused. The man was acting “extremely nervous” incident reports stated. Finally the man complied but told the deputy there was no reason for stopping him. The man, Markee Antonio Griffin, 19, told the deputy that he ran because he knew his driver’s license was suspended. When the deputy confirmed the suspension Mr. Griffin was taken into custody and transported to the Detention Center for booking. For
