Which antivirus protection do you recommend?

Ok, ok….so I like free stuff!  Why pay for something when you can get one that works just as good for nothing? Tired of your renewal coming around to quickly?
Your going to love today’s tip!

Today’s question is: “Which antivirus protection do you recommend?” This one is pretty easy: Although there are many on the market my favorite is Grisoft’s AVG. 
I really like this one because it does the job efficiently and it’s free. I personally use this one on all of my computers. -  Grisoft's AVG Antivirus

Something to remember, AVG Antivirus won't automatically check for updates or perform a scan more than one time per day. But you can do it manually whenever you need to: Just right-click on the AVG Control Center icon in the system tray and choose "Check for update from internet." For a full scan, open AVG and choose "Complete test" from the interface.

While we're at it I cannot strongly enough recommend using a firewall.
I want you to try the firewall I use. Same thing, free as can be!
