 Church suffers $16,000 loss in theft web posted January 27, 2010 TRENTON – The Young Piney Grove Baptist Church suffered a $16,000 loss over the weekend when thieves made off with two heating and air conditioning units from outside the church. Though no specific time could be determined in the theft, it is believed to have occurred between Sunday January 17 and Monday morning of this week. According to incident reports, the thieves disconnected the central air units by cutting pipes and wires. An investigator was notified of the theft and the scene was processed for any possible evidence. No suspects were listed in reports. The theft is felony grand larceny and is punishable by a sentence of up to 10 years in prison if convicted. © Copyright 2010
