  Trenton Home Found Burglarized Thursday web posted February 23, 2013 TRENTON – A Padgett Road home was reported burglarized Thursday afternoon after the man's son returned from school and found the back door unlocked and the house ransacked. An Edgefield County Sheriff's Deputy arrived and found entry was gained by forcing a back window open. A neighbor reported seeing a white truck at the home around 8:15 that morning, after everyone had left. The person or persons made their way through the house stealing at least one flat screen TV, tossing beds, drawers and closets. A full list of items stolen was not listed in an incident report released on Friday. An investigator arrived to process the scene for evidence and take photographs. The neighbor spotted the truck later and took a picture of it and sent it to the owner's girlfriend who then reported it to the deputy. The truck was then reported to be at a mobile home park in Edgefield. According to the report, the neighbor also stated there was someone selling flat screen TV's at the Crossroads Motel in Trenton.
