  One critically injured after being ejected from truck during crash web posted February 26, 2007 TRENTON – An early Sunday morning crash left one person critically injured on Highway 19 near Windy Ridge Road just after midnight. Reports on the crash are incomplete but the passenger of the truck was reported to have been ejected from the vehicle and was found lying unconscious at a tree line near the scene. Edgefield County Deputies were the first to arrive on the scene. The Trenton Fire Department and Edgefield County EMS also responded to the scene and treated the driver and passenger. The driver, reportedly wearing a seatbelt, escaped serious injury. The unidentified passenger, said to the thrown from the truck, was transported to the MCG Trauma Unit by ambulance and was said to be in critical condition. No further updates on the patient were available Sunday afternoon. The cause of the crash was also not available. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. For
